Whether you want to rename your company, or establish how your brand speaks to the world, I can help with all aspects of your verbal identity.
NAMING
If you come to me looking for a name (or rename), here’s my process:
Kick off call with startup founders, execs, etc to discuss your brand and goals. I will ask you to come with some homework (it won’t be graded!)-what brand names do you like/not like and why and what words should I consider using or avoid? This will give me a strong starting point, as well as know what I shouldn’t waste my time on.
Brainstorm hundreds of names, by exploring words in relevant categories, different meanings, languages, combining words, spelling, etc. Basically I exhaust every way of thinking about your name.
Presentation of first round of recommended names, including reasoning behind each one. With my background in conceptual advertising, I root every name in an insight around your brand, product and/or audience. I also share what I find from a Google search and preliminary URL and trademark search for all names I present. I am not a lawyer or domain broker, so please hire the appropriate professionals as needed to do this part of the process for you.
Final name selection after discussing your feedback, any alternatives you want to explore, etc. Usually this process is complete in two rounds, however I am happy to make it work for your needs.

After establishing your name, or if you already have a great name and just need to work on the rest, I can help with:
Tone of voice and copy guidelines: Establish how things are said from your brand. From the celebrity persona your brand sounds like, to the emotions you want to convey, even down to what words you should and shouldn’t use.
Brand messaging: Write key communications from your brand, like your mission statement and manifesto, website, social copy, and more.
Lines on lines on lines: I can provide you with an arsenal of copy that fits your brand, that you can use whenever and wherever you need it.
